Very helpful
Written on Nov 27, 2024 after therapy with Amy for 9 months on issues concerning depression, family conflicts, self esteem, and anger management
It's a bit too soon to fully review my experience with BetterHelp and my therapist, but so far my experience has been positive. I feel very motivated to work on myself. Amy is very empathetic and compassionate, and thinks critically about what my thought processes might be in a certain situation. She gives me work sheets that are definitely a helpful addition to my mental health process, and she responds to my messages with useful thoughts/ tips, or just acknowledges what I'm feeling. Currently I feel better supported, less alone, and more motivated to put in the work I need to be more mentally resilient.
