About me

Are you frustrated, tired and annoyed that you are dealing with the same old issues?

Are you feeling lonely, disconnected or not like yourself?

Are their issues from the past that you haven't dealt with that you would like to heal without feeling overwhelmed?

Do you ever feel swept away by your emotions and don't know how to get them under control?

Maybe you have already sought help before or you are new to therapy but you ultimately want to feel better, improve your life and your relationships and stop feeling stuck. It matters to me that you have the skills you need to be successful independent from our sessions. I will guide you through practicing the methods that will help you cope with difficult emotions, build insight and self-awareness, and teach you how to be more responsive and less reactive to the problems in your life.

Whether you are dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, trauma and loss, eating disorders, relationship issues, or other problems, I will guide you in remembering how to feel and be more like yourself while helping you reconnect with your natural abilities to heal and cope with the issues of life.

As an LCSW with over 14 years of experience in psychotherapy and coaching/consulting, I have specialized in treating issues related to trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, eating disorders and related issues. I have worked with diverse populations, including veterans & military officials, first responders, nurses, and helping professionals along with those from diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds from all faiths. This background and awareness also makes me sensitive to the areas that one's faith or spiritual experiences may be falsely mistaken for mental illness, and I have helped many people recover from spiritual or religious abuse or dealing with the negative effects of religious discrimination. For those who are interested, I also integrate either faith-based or Christian counseling into our work together as an additional support.

I look forward to helping you feel better and ultimately helping you tap into your abilities to help yourself!

She just gets it and provides an approach to therapy I’ve didn’t knew existed but is exactly what I needed.
