About me

Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 17 years of experience. I have practiced in Colorado and clients I have worked with have had a wide range of concerns from depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, substance use, suicidality, and career challenges. I have predominantly worked with individuals aged 18 and older. My counseling approach is warm, authentic, interactive, and comfortable. I am certified in Choice Theory/Reality Therapy and may pull tenets from that philosophy; however, I also like to use skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and when necessary I utilize my training in Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your specific needs.
Having a supportive counselor who can help guide you through what you are wanting to address is tremendously helpful. I look forward to being a support to you, and helping you meet your needs.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amy Moran. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I love Amy’s approach and therapy with her has been so, so helpful for me. She is gentle, kind, honest, funny and easy to talk to. It’s obvious that she takes detailed notes about my life and issues because she remembers even small things, while also doing her own research into whatever may help me. I’m so glad I found her!

Amy is a great listener and she helps shed light on how others may be thinking.
