About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas with 12 years experience in the counseling field. I get to help people every day and it is a dream career. I work with people that experience a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, life and career challenges, OCD and ADHD. I also help people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

It shows a great deal of courage to take a step towards your complete health and well-being. We are all capable of achieving amazing things when we are physically and mentally healthy. Sometimes we get stuck and can't hear the truth that is within us. Therapy in a trustworthy, caring, and safe environment can help us hear our truth. My approach is to center on you, help you understand how thoughts and feelings affect behaviors, and find solutions to become your best self.

I look forward to working with you!

An amazing woman! She helped me so much with my anger issues that got in the way with my relationship. I definitely have a better dynamic now with my partner and can control myself better when arguments arise. Highly recommend her also if you have difficulty with past trauma. She’s so great with that.

This service is a whole lot more cost affordable for me. Plus Amy is like me so she understands what I talk about. That is able to provide a lot of good examples and details to help me understand.

She is a great listener and understands what I'm talking about. Even if it doesn't always make since. She's there for me when I need to talk to someone, even if it's just about something that happened in my day. She's been a amazing support and would recommend her to anyone and everyone that needs a councilor that cares.
