About me

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my professional biography. I am a licensed psychotherapist licensed in the state of Illinois. I have around 15 years of experience in providing support and therapy to clients who struggle with a variety of concerns including, but not limited to: attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, autism, depression, eating disorders, family problems, health issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder, self-injury, post-traumatic stress disorder and suicide. I also have much experience working with adolescents as well as members of the LGBTQ community.

I am a person-centered therapist and I work collaboratively with my clients to help them reach their goals. I am very empathetic and I utilize an unconditional positive regard for my clients. I provide a holistic and humanistic approach. I am passionate about working with you to help you increase your self-worth, empower you and motivate you to reach your goals in life. I look forward to working with you!

I utilize a variety of theories and techniques and tailor them to fit my client and my client's needs. Some more common approaches I utilize are: cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, narrative, psychodynamic, trauma-informed and solution-focused.
