I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania with over seven years of experience working as a Psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including addiction, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting concerns, and career challenges. I have also worked with people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My theoretical orientation is primarily integrative, and may include cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, holistic, person-centered, and experiential techniques. My role as a Therapist is to provide a safe, comfortable, and judgement free environment that enables you to explore your thoughts and feelings as I guide you on your journey to achieve your personal goals. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I believe that achieving your goals is collaborative and therefore feel strongly that you participate in helping to determine your goals for treatment. I will use the most appropriate interventions to yield optimum results to best serve you.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Helpful and knowledgeable. Quick for answers and understanding questions and needs.
Amy has been a big help and is very responsive. She also checks in with me if I have not given an update in a while.
I really enjoy talking to Amy. Sometimes it better to hear someone’s point of view and expert guidance rather than speaking to friends in which their responses may be biased. She has always been quick with written responses and accommodates for times to talk. I never feel rushed or judged by some of my flaws. She never makes me feel small of myself. I feel like I’m discovering ways to help my anxiety and other behavioral issues that I’ve been dealing with. She always follows up especially if I have a bad day and write to her about it. Being in a demanding healthcare profession, life becomes very stressful and I’m finding myself struggling to find balance but Amy has taught me several techniques to help that I have never even learned when I was in school. I’m so happy that I’ve found the right counselor for me despite how reluctant I was at first. I have definitely recommended this to close friends as well.
I have just started counseling and Amy has been very helpful. She sends me worksheets which help me immensely. Quick response time as well. Highly recommended.
Amy is a wonderful resource for me, whom I trust with my feelings. She does not judge me, but helps me make decisions and tells me when I am perhaps misinterpreting a situation. She has provided me with great resources and information and I rely on her counsel. Thank you Amy.
