Andrea Born-Horowitz, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State and have been in practice for over 12 years. I have worked with people from all backgrounds in a variety of settings. I have a deep passion for the work I do and consider it privilege when someone invites me to join them on their journey. Therapy is partly guidance and the other part is hold space for someone to experience their emotions in a safe and judgment free zone. All day you could be trying to hold it together for the sake of your family and your children, while inside your head you feel like you are spiraling out of control. These current times are so uncertain and there is nothing more uncomfortable for humans than uncertainty. The unpredictability has many feeling scared and on edge. I offer a supportive and judgment free therapeutic approach with proven techniques that will help you reduce your anxiety.
