I always feel heard and cared for. Very thankful to be working with Andrea!
Dr McCarter has been an amazing asset to me! She always reaches out via messages to see how I am doing in between sessions, she has been super flexible with video or phone calls depending on my needs as well as flexibility when I have personal things come up at the same time as our sessions. She listens and makes me think about things in new ways and she has truly built up my confidence in myself! I don’t know what I would do without her!!
She is great , she understands me, have me complete certain assignments , if I was someone looking for a consoler I would recommend Dr.McCarter she is fantastic at what she does.
Caring, gives good advice, makes me feel better.
I have had one video chat with Dr. McCarter and it was nice that she listened to me and gave me some suggestion for me to work on, I haven't been able to do much this week due to being sick. But the questions she ask me and the assignments to work on have been good for me.
I’m really enjoying my sessions with Dr. McCarter. She has an easy about her and the advice she gives is logical and thought provoking.
Very reliable and kind. She gives you a sense of comfort to talk about anything. My experience with Dr McCarter thus far has been a good one.
Quite happy with the gentle handling of my addiction problems. I’m sensitive about my problems and having someone who’s patient is important. If your the type who looking for change and needs someone who can talk to you without judgement I would strongly recommend her
She's skilled at helping her clients reach their goals, dissect their traumas and is thoughtful in all interactions & assignments. I am so blessed that she is on BetterHelp and that BetterHelp exist.
Dr. McCarter has been very empathetic and supportive.
She is a wonderful counselor, hands down! Knowledgeable, kind, supportive, offers realistic possibilities for working through issues. I strongly recommend her.
She's the best!
I have only met with Dr. Carter one time (so far) and her advise from that one conversation was very impactful! She had great insight and understanding. I am looking forward to our next conversation!
I have only had 1 30 minute session but i felt like i could really talk to Dr McCarter. She was very respecful of the fact that i had a stroke and wanted to communicate thru texting. She even made our next session an hour long. She seems to be a very good match for me.
She is so wonderful. She understands me very well, and she knows how to speak to me based on my personality. She makes our path forward based on my needs and not her agenda. She gives me answers instead of more questions, and I appreciate that so much.
