About me

I’m Andrea, and I’m here to support you in this journey and provide a place of safety to talk through anything presenting a challenge in your life. My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered, focusing on whatever best supports your well-being. The therapeutic techniques I use are cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, psycho-educational, and trauma-informed.

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2012 and received a MA in Counseling from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. I also have 16 years experience working in the public school system as a Professional School Counselor.

From the first session Andrea listened and communicated in a way where even though this was my first therapy session ever, it made me feel welcome, safe, and after the session much more educated on lots of matters.
