Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Andrew Norwood. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Andrew combines empathy with intelligent probing to help me explore my issues and help me seek solutions.
Andrew is by far the best therapist I have ever had. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
Andrew is amazing!!!!!
Andrew has been very patient and flexible with me. He knows when to listen and when to ask the probing questions. I’ve already seen benefits after seeing him only 2-3 months. Thank you, Andrew
Awesome! Very understanding and always listening!
He's great, every session we've had I've felt better about myself. I look forward to many more.
I came looking for ways to cope with issues in my life and Andrew gave them to me. He addressed my issues and how to work on them during the week. When I came to the next session, he wanted to know how things had worked out that week. I have tried the things he suggested and feel better and have a different outlook on life.
Thanks Andrew
Andrew has helped me notice things in my life that I have been thinking about for a long time. Yet, he's offered me ideas and positive ways to handle them. I would and have referred him to friends.
Andrew is a wonderful professional who combines care and empathy and is a good listener
Incredibly professional and attentive therapist with a very practical approach to navigating mental health challenges. Offers excellent advice.
My journey with Andrew has just started a few months ago but I already have many different strategies to cope with my major stressors. I look forward to every session and his advice. Thank you for making this so easy Andrew.
Very friendly and gives great perspectives. His knowledge and points of view are appreciated.
Mr. Norwood has already helped me in just several sessions of therapy. I've been able to look at situations and life from a different perspective. I'm excited to learn more.
Working with Andrew is great! He listens so well, completely understands me, and has given me excellent advice. I’m excited to keep working with him.
Very helpful in letting me recognize my approach towards a better self image
Very good listener and seems to really try and understand what it is that you are going through. Very friendly, kind, and respectful and seems to truly want to help out. I would recommend.
Andrew always lends a patient ear and makes me feel supported. He had helped me see other perspectives of my issues and suggested some great coping strategies. Thank you Andrew!
Andrew is amazing. He is a blend of listening and advice. He is a a safe space to express emotion and I’m very happy with the progress we’re able to make together.
Andrew is awesome. He doesn't sugar coat anything. He'll tell you how it is, even if it's hard to hear. He's extremely friendly and professional and makes you feel like he truly cares.
Andrew listened with much empathy and have given great advice so far. He has a great awareness of my goals and I feel heard. Look forward to working more with him.
Just started working with him. He has been very helpful so far
Upon thinking about starting therapy I was extremely hesitant and quite frankly I still feel anxious prior to a scheduled meeting as I'm not the type of person to share things with others. I didn't have confidence in therapy but after having a few sessions with Andrew I'm very keen on continuing to work with him as he is patient, direct and very knowledgeable. I'm glad I receive him as a therapist and looking forward to the future. Thanks Andrew and Betterhelp!
Andrew listens and asks thought provoking questions that help me decide things on my own. He has a good balance of lightening the mood and serious conversation. He genuinely wants to help and I feel like he has helped me greatly ever since I started therapy with him.
Andrew has been wonderful. He is extremely knowledgeable in his work and always finds ways to encourage and support me. With his guidance and help I’m in a much better place than when I started therapy and my life is flourishing because of it!
Andrew is an amazing therapist. I feel like she really does listen and try his best to help you from your point of view. Give him a try and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Andrew is an intelligent guy. He knows what he is talking about, and seems to understand the unique issues men have. With his Military background, he is especially qualified to help that population, but also men in general. He listens, validates, and provides me with things to work on that are beneficial. I have noticed a drastic change in myself and my attitude since therapy, and am very grateful to Andrew!
Andrew’s been really great in helping me process through past traumas and current challenges, and shinning a light on how these are connected. I feel like he’s not just my therapist he’s also my cheerleader and genuinely rooting for me which is really nice.
Andrew is very personable and has helped me to see different areas of my life in which I can improve. I now know how best to handle stress in my life and have been able to see a lot of progress during my time meeting with him.
Very insightful. His recommendations are things that I would have never thought contribute to the way I feel. He has a calm, confident, and understanding demeanor that makes me feel like I am talking with my father or other mature masculine figure. He is a great listener and somehow knows all of the right questions to ask.
Andrew is very personable and understanding and seems to be able to pick up and point out issues I'm dealing with well and exsplain things to me and ways to help
I get more out of my 30 minute sessions with Andrew than I did out of hour long sessions with my last therapist. I know it won't be the same for everyone, but for me the extra cost of therapy without using my insurance is worth it just because I finally have a therapist who is helping me actually improve, not simply being a good listener and nothing else. He's even concerned about me paying the extra cost and wants to help me as quickly as possible to mitigate that. What a rare find, imo. If you have a choice, use Andrew, and not just for marriage counseling (I'm single). He knows his stuff.
Andrew is awesome! His approach allows trust to build and he treats everything you say with respect. I am grateful for everything he has helped me with.
Andrew has been super helpful and not only listens to my concerns, but also gives me concrete direction on what to work on which is exactly what I need.
Andrew is a fantastic guy. He listens to everything that I have to say and you can really see how much he wants to help. It has been a pleasure speaking with him and I would definately recommend!
Andrew is very good at identifying the key issues and encouraging me to confront the hard questions that I need to deal with in order to progress/heal. I would have no hesitation in recommending his services as a therapist.
I have been in therapy for 10 years, and it wasn't until I started working with Andrew that I really started to become confident and centered. I have bipolar and feel like most therapists see limited potential; Andrew sees past it and has pushed me to not accept low standards for myself.
Really like the fella, he at least convinced me that he knows what he’s doing.
Think of your ideal therapist, sounding board, ear to talk off, shoulder to cry on, friend to laugh and be sad with, best advice giver, etc. That’s Andrew.
He is excellent and offers excellent therapy. Couldn’t ask for a better person to help me through my journey.
Andrew is a patient and thoughtful listener. He asks good questions. Allows silence, when silence is needed. And, behind the scenes, he connects the dots. He is prepared for the session that follows.
Andrew really listens to concerns and responds with understanding. He also provides motivational feedback for the issues at hand even if it’s not the easiest to hear.
Fantastic so far
Andrew listens but doesn't treat me like a glass doll. I feel like he gives me a good balance of compassion and good advice. He brings a good amount of experience to our therapy appointments.
Andrew listens and supports you all the way. Great therapist
Andrew has been a major help to me. He has helped me diagnose and verbalize issues in my life, as well as help me find ways to approach them. Andrew has been nothing short of helpful and insightful. Anyone who has the pleasure of working with him will be able to tell he cares right away.
So far I have only seen Andrew once but with that one session I can already tell that he cares about helping me. He has already helped me and I can really tell the difference from my last therapist and with Andrew. Andrew is the best!
Andrew is the kind of counselor that listens and identifies his client, I guess a better way to put it is he’s seeks first understanding and then derives his approach according to the individual he is assisting! I have found myself highly impressed with our sessions!
Andrew listens with kindness and is able to help me verbalize my concerns. I appreciate his candor and kindness during our sessions.
Really caring and lovely to talk to.
I have really enjoyed speaking with Andrew. He’s great!
Andrew is exceptional.
He listened well to my issues and helped with a great solution
