Hi there! I'm Andrew (he/him/his). Since 2013, I have been practicing with children and adolescents mainly, which does include working with the families of my clients, lending me experience working with adults, couples, parents, individuals, and families. With my main focus being on children and adolescents, I have developed great experience working with individuals and families dealing with depression, anxiety, phase of life stressors, substance abuse, career and goal setting.
My main theoretical approach to therapy is client centered, meaning you are in control of sessions and dictate what we work on. I've found that this approach empowers you to effect change in your own life, as well as allowing me to pull from different theoretical approaches, including but not limited to: motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, family systems, and harm reduction model.
While working on my Master's degree, I turned my professional studies towards the intersection of the LGBTQ+ Community and mental health. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to advocating and improving treatment interventions to better aid the LGBTQ+ community, including but not limited to developing agency training protocols, writing policies in accordance with the World Health Organization standards of care, and advising colleagues on cases involving LGBTQ+ clients.

Great therapist so far
Andrew has been so understanding, helpful, and positive. He is an incredibly active listener, while not creating a feeling like he is prodding or judging me. I have benefited so much from Andrew’s expertise and I am so thankful to have been connected with him.
It's very professional casual. Meaning he is comfortable to talk to but can put his point across on specific topics in a clear and professional way. I am so comfortable talking with him and I trust him.
Very kind and understanding.
I really never thought I'd come so far and so easily, the experience can be just summed up to as natural.
I feel like I’ve really related to Andrew and he’s been able to relate to me more than any other therapist I’ve had. It doesn’t bother me that it’s an online experience, I still feel like he’s taken the effort to get to know me and what I need.
