About Me

Welcome! My name is Angie. I have been an individual therapist for 11 years, licensed in Oregon and Colorado. I specialize with individuals struggling with Anxiety, Trauma, Grief, and Major Life Transitions (e.g. moving, divorce/break ups, career change, etc...). I also am experienced in helping clients deal with Stress, Depression, Mood Swings, Low Self-worth, Divorce, and Workplace Dissatisfaction/Frustration. I offer a healing environment where hearts and minds restore balance and find peace in this chaotic world. I strive to personalize a strength-based and trauma-informed approach just for you. My therapeutic focus is client-centered, reality-based and awareness that unresolved past experiences can influence current actions, reactions, and feelings. I teach practical ways to increase coping skills, build self-confidence, and improve communication skills. I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy CBT), and Collaborative Problem Solving. I am certified in EMDR (Eye movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). I can utilize the early phases of this approach to guide you through calming exercises that can help reduce anxiety and depression. I am dedicated to support, validate, and compassionately meet with full acceptance. I am inclusive and accepting. I am experienced with working with LBGTQ populations and open to all religions.
