We'll work eclectically, utilizing approaches such as Integrative/Holistic, Humanistic, CBT, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based CT, and others to help you manifest the changes you desire.
I have been a social worker for more than 12 years and have experience working with people from all different backgrounds who are struggling with a wide variety of challenges. Much of my experience has been working with people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and women's issues. The feedback I receive from clients is that they find me to be caring and nonjudgmental, and they appreciate that I am honest and direct with them.
I can interact with you in whatever manner you are most comfortable. I find it helpful to participate in weekly video sessions so that we can get to know each other better. But I am also available to you via phone and text if that is more comfortable for you. My available live session hours are mainly on Fridays, but I check messages at least twice during each weekday.
I know how hard it can be to find a counselor who you feel a connection with and I would be honored to work with you through this stage of your life.
