I am licensed in Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
The treatment modality I generally use is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which makes the argument that most of our achievements and decisions are based on our thoughts. Therefore, if we can identify our thoughts, we can change them and consequently our feelings and our actions or behavior. CBT has helped people deal with anger, depression, stress, grief, self-loathing. low motivation and poor self-esteem. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I commend you for your bravery. I am here to support you in that process.
