About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I have over 10 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My experience includes working in the prison system, community mental health, and substance abuse.
The focus of my practice is helping clients who have been struggling with the effects of a variety of issues, including depression, Bipolar, anxiety, stress, personal growth, Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Parenting issues, Trauma, abuse, Grief, Anger management, Self esteem, life stages and transition, and coping with medical illness such as infertility, and diabeties.

I utilize a strengths-based approach and often use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness techniques. However I use the most appropriate and effective modalities to personalize each clients therapeutic process.

I strive to provide a comfortable environment, encouragement, empowerment, support, a listening ear, and also to equip clients with the tools needed to help manage current and future difficulties. Allowing clients the opportunity to find a healthy path.

It takes courage to take the first steps towards change. I have helped many people who have experienced physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
