I initially received my license in 2003, and have had a great deal of experience with solution focused therapy. This type of therapy is excellent for dealing with anxiety, grief, life transitions as well as illness. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals in a life coaching capacity. I most enjoy helping people remove barriers in their life so they can achieve more happiness, peace and purpose for themselves. I like to employ a down-to-earth realistic approach to issues, my own life experience is part of what I bring to therapy. This includes working as an executive in healthcare for many years, helping people and their families cope with serious injury and illness, as well as being a parent, working through a divorce and and incorporating a blended family, plus more :)

Ann is a phenomenal therapist
Thanks to Better Help and Ann Perkins, my fears are minimal and manageable. Ann's guidance and 'homework' help keep me focused and moving forward. I'm so glad I joined and was matched to Ann in March 2021!
Ann is a wonderful therapist! I have been working with her for two months and she has given me great advice on how to work through a family crisis. She is compassionate and yet very focused on the problems. I highly recommend Ann Perkins.
Ann Perkins has been extremely helpful in helping me sort things out.. she is attentive to my concerns, and respects me.
From the beginning, she got to the heart of the issues and gave me some good coping mechanisms that worked for my situation. She’s fantastic!
Ann is amazing! I am a gay man, and initially struggled with finding a therapist who understood LGBTQ+ related issues, but she did such an amazing job relating to me and understanding what it’s like to be a young queer person. Her advice was very personalized and specific to my background. Loved working with her, definitely recommend!
Ann is an amazing, understanding counselor!!
I have been speaking with Ann Perkins for a month now and I feel so much stronger. She has offered some great ideas on how to deal with my problem. But more importantly she has given me back some confidence in myself and I completely trust her advices.
I am having a great experience having Ann as a counselor. She made me feel comfortable right away and walked me through the process. Talking to Ann is easy and enjoyable. Her insight and understanding has helped me already in a short time.
