I initially received my license in 2003, and have had a great deal of experience with solution focused therapy. This type of therapy is excellent for dealing with anxiety, grief, life transitions as well as illness. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals in a life coaching capacity. I most enjoy helping people remove barriers in their life so they can achieve more happiness, peace and purpose for themselves. I like to employ a down-to-earth realistic approach to issues, my own life experience is part of what I bring to therapy. This includes working as an executive in healthcare for many years, helping people and their families cope with serious injury and illness, as well as being a parent, working through a divorce and and incorporating a blended family, plus more :)
Additional areas of focus: Stress, Anxiety, Addictions, LGBT, Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Grief, Intimacy-related issues, Eating disorders, Sleeping disorders, Depression, Compassion fatigue, Aging and Geriatric Issues, Blended Family Issues, Body Image, Cancer, Caregiver Issues and Stress, Chronic Pain Illness and Disability, Divorce and Separation, Family of Origin Issues, Family Problems, Forgiveness, Hospice and End of Life Counseling, Life Purpose, Midlife Crisis, Pregnancy and Childbirth, Traumatic Brain Injury, Women's Issues, Young Adult Issues

Ann is amazing! I am a gay man, and initially struggled with finding a therapist who understood LGBTQ+ related issues, but she did such an amazing job relating to me and understanding what it’s like to be a young queer person. Her advice was very personalized and specific to my background. Loved working with her, definitely recommend!
