Life is often full of unexpected twists and turns that can leave us wondering what just happened. My clinical career has primarily been spent helping people adjust to a new normal when life hasn't gone as expected. Whether that be the loss of a loved one, a traumatic event, a life-changing illness, or any other life altering event, I am available to assist with the bumps along the journey of life.
Over the past fifteen years, I have worked as a therapist helping individuals cope with grief and loss, chronic and terminal illnesses, traumatic events, abuse, crisis situations, depression, anxiety, parenting difficulties, relationship issues, adoption, educational challenges, substance abuse, and many other life experiences that require support to navigate. Sometimes we need someone to accompany us on the journey in order to adapt and deal with what arises in life. As a therapist, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, comfortable environment, which leads to opportunities to discuss life's challenges and how to face them.
My educational background includes a Master's of Social Work degree from the University of Utah (2005) and a Bachelor's Degree in Family and Human Development (2001) from Utah State University. Over the years, I have had many opportunities to supervise and mentor social work interns and new graduates.
In addition to my clinical experience, I have also spent the past five years homeschooling my children and I am intimately acquainted with the challenges related to parenting and education. My life experiences also include living in Central America and on an Indian Reservation. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, baking, hiking, practicing yoga, spending time outside, or enjoying a good book.

My counselor has been so caring and not judgemental.. l feel comfortable opening up to her and it is helping me alot!
I’d say highest score as excellent on all questions
Anna has been so helpful! She has honestly been one of the best counselors I have ever had. She was able to ask really great questions that provided me with some really major breakthroughs. She was kind and compassionate. She always responded in a timely manner and allowed me time to really reflect on the questions she asked. I can’t thank her enough for her support through my journey.
Anna is EXTREMELY good. I needed that because I am going through something right now that NO ONE should EVER have to go through.
Anna was very open since we first started therapy. She listens and lets you talk things through, but gives insight and ideas to help. It’s different than doing traditional therapy in the sense it’s in your own home, but I would recommend Anna to anyone!
She has been very helpful.
Anna was the second person I was matched with as my first didn’t work out. From the start, she was a better match for me. She engages from the beginning and is very responsive!
She is amazing and has helped me a lot! She gave me different exercises to work on when I am feeling anxious or just feeling any kind of way and they have really helped me immensely. I really recommend talking with Anna she is just the sweetest and really takes the time to listen to you and write you back.
