I have worked with clients from depression. to infidelity, to life dissatisfaction, to women and men's sexuality issues. I do not consider any issue to be too small. I think it is crucial for someone to realize that you do not have to have serious problems in place in order to seek out help for yourself. It is important to recognize when you may be headed in that direction and when help/guidance may be appropriate.
I consider my approach to be very direct. I am extremely open and accepting without judgment of other's life choices. I love to make people feel that they can speak about anything and be met with understanding. I utilize solution-focused therapy and have a person-centered approach.
Having worked in extreme settings it is critical that people identify when they need help or just someone to talk to. When it becomes too late then people begin to panic, and that is OK too.
