Hi! My name is Anna and I am so glad you are here. I have been in the counseling field for 17 years, and in that time I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including hospitals, prisons and various community agencies. Each experience not only helped me develop my expertise and skill set, but more importantly, I realized how much I love helping people achieve their desired personal growth.
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in working with adults who are living with anxiety. I also work with individuals who experienced trauma, mood management issues, and those who may be working to manage substance abuse. I received a Master’s degree in forensic psychology in 2004, and a Doctorate degree in clinical psychology in 2009. I have been licensed to practice in Colorado since 2011. My specialty training includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I work with individuals, couples, and groups.
I am a proponent of the mind-body connection and believe taking care of our physical health is just as important as taking care of our mental health. In fact, they are inseparable. In therapy I utilize a mindfulness-based approach to change, while focusing on personal strengths to promote growth and healing. Grounding techniques, progressive muscle relaxation, and deep breathing/meditation are just some of the tools I use in my practice. While I cannot tell you which path you should take, I can help you customize your tool set so you can feel more prepared and confident as you take the first steps in your chosen direction.
I believe change is inevitable, and growth is a life-long process. We can choose to be a part of the change process or to resist it. It is clear which you have chosen, and I am so honored to be part of your change journey. I am excited you are here taking your first steps toward finding fulfillment and happiness in your life. There is no better moment than this to start your journey, so let’s go!

She has seen/heard me at my worst and has been the BEST. Thank you for everything you done to help me get passed these troubling times!
I was having a little mini crisis in a relationship and signed up for betterhelp hoping to find someone to talk to me through it. I got super lucky when I was paired with Dr Jetton! She helped me through my little crisis and has since then helped me cope with a serious traumatic accident and some other things like family and friend issues. She is smart and knowledgeable and I always leave our sessions feeling like she’s given me the proper tools to manage or even overcome my issues.
Anna gave me amazing coping skills to deal with things.
She has been very helpful and compassionate, as well as patient with me.
I'm new to counseling and Dr. Jetton has been great with starting and waling through the process.
Dr Jetton understands and provides the support I need. She is very keen on what I’m dealing with.
Dr. Jetton has been amazing! I would recommend her to anyone. She listens and provides great insight. I've really enjoyed working with her.
Although I've only gotten to know Dr. Jetton for a few weeks, I believe I can trust her with the issues I wish to seek help with in life. I'm confident that through her guidance I can make some positive changes to my life. For others I believe she will help with anything the best she can as long as one is willing to open up about their issues.
This has been an uplifting experience with Dr. Jetton. It's my first time doing therapy. With her I finally have hope that things are going to get better
She's helped me pave the road towards gaining control over my mental health. The tools and guidance she's given me have been invaluable in helping me feel better than i have in years.
Dr. Jetton has provided me with valuable insight, suggestions, and support while helping me work through my perfectionism and procrastination. There is still a lot of progress to be made, but I am confident that I would not have made nearly as much without her help.
Dr. Jetton has been working with me on a couple of issues for a little while now. She's very knowledgeable, understanding, and flexible with how to work with you. She's very responsive, always takes time to reach out if she hasn't heard from you, and takes the time to let you know when she might not be available, herself.
This was my first time reaching out for help in this way at all, and in the end, because of Dr. Anna Jetton, I'm glad I did.
Dr. Jetton couldn't be a better fit for me. It's important to have the right counselor for what you need, Dr Jetton was exactly what I needed. I learned an immense about myself and my past that I didn't realize was impacting me so heavily. She asks questions and guides you to come to your truths, she doesn't barrage you with unnecessary information or advice. If you're walking the path of enlightenment, Dr Jetton is a great fit.
When I first reached out to Dr. Jetton, it was with a series of long, winding messages - sharing all the thoughts I've had inside over the past several years. And she really read them all and took the time to ask questions and clarify what I had said and what I meant. Her approach is kind and curious, not judgmental or prescriptive. She really feels like a partner who wants to work with you and experiment to find the processes and practices to make your mental life healthier and more fulfilling. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a counselor.
I like working with Dr.Jetton because she makes me feel like the emotions I'm having are normal. She doesn't make me feel like being very emotional about certain subjects is the bad thing. She really is taking things at the pace I want to go. I don't feel pressured or scared with her. She's very sweet and pleasant to talk with and I feel that I've definitely made improvements since I've started talking with her.
I was really nervous about counseling and reaching out for help but from the very beginning Dr. Jetton has made this a really easy and comfortable process. She is so genuine and really listens when I talk with her. She always responds quickly and checks in when she hasn’t heard from me in a few days, and is great about letting me know when she is available and when she’s not. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first time in counseling!
She is very professional and takes things at my pace.
Dr. Jetton listens even though I'm a horrible historian and has already provided me with several tools that are helping me understand and cope with my issues.
