Anna Wiebold, LPC
About me
Hi! Welcome to BetterHelp. My name is Anna Wiebold, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and I have been counseling since 2013. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2010 from Christendom College in Front Royal Virginia, and I received an M.S. in Clinical Psychology in 2013 from the Institute for Psychological Sciences. I completed my post-graduate work in Fall River, Massachusetts where I provided In-Home Therapy to at-risk families that required intensive family therapy to move from surviving to thriving. Over the course of my training, I have had the unique honor and privilege of working with clients from many walks of life, witnessing their resiliency and growth through their own investment in the therapeutic process. I am passionate about this process and I am looking forward to supporting you in finding your path to health and healing.
My approach is one that focuses on healing through self-awareness, insight, hope, and transformation. I work collaboratively with clients to unveil strengths and develop positive solutions to reduce stress. I work to foster the support and care necessary to help you identify and work towards your therapeutic goals. Based on the interconnectedness of our physical, mental, and spiritual needs, I believe that solutions are most effective when they are geared towards strengthening the whole of the person rather than its parts. Therefore, I utilize an integrated approach to therapy which draws from multiple therapeutic modalities including including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Emotion Focused Therapy, and many more. I've worked with children, adolescents, adults, both in individual and family counseling. I have significant experience in treating anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma and abuse, relationship conflict, parenting difficulties, and many more. My services provide a therapeutic relationship that is both professional and personal. I work alongside you in your therapeutic journey and foster a collaborative effort in developing a treatment that meets your individual needs. I promote the openness, accountability and honesty necessary for you to see your goals come to fruition. I am looking forward to working with you and supporting your process of developing solutions for lasting, healthy changes.
