Hello,
I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently working on my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. I tend to utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and/or person centered therapy in helping clients meet their treatment goals. I am versed in other approaches as well which allows me to apply the best modality that meets my clients needs at the time. I am passionate about helping people and guiding them through the therapy process. I am here to assist you in recognizing your strengths while also finding coping strategies for whatever challenges you might face. I have worked with adults, teens and children. I have worked in a crisis center, an outpatient setting, and as a trauma therapist. Currently, I work in addiction assisting individuals and families by giving the help they need to understand and cope with substance use disorders. I am compassionate and non-judgmental. I am here to help you in your journey and to assist in discovering and accomplishing your goals Therapy is a process and a partnership between the therapist and client.
