About me

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 9 years of experience working as a therapist in both mental health centers and private practice. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety and substance abuse. I also help people who have experienced past trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is positive and curious. I believe in treating everyone with sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. Working together we can develop goals and find what works best for you in terms of therapy and communication style.

It is exciting to be taking steps to improve the way you feel and think. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
Anne

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Anne Quast. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I have recommended Anne by name to people. She has supported me for several months as I have tackled some deep rooted trauma, and helped me as I chase it all down even into my every day life as I recognise more and more how to help myself. Her strategies are simple to try but complicated and far reaching in effect. I have been stunned and delighted by the incredible bounds I made by trusting her as she guided me, and through feeling confident enough to be honest. Anne is an extremely canny, insightful and gentle presence whose humour, always kind, has at times helped bring me perspective, welcome distance and objectivity. I will always be grateful to have partnered with Anne for this process and I recommend her without reservation.

Anne is an amazing listener, counselor, and person. She always made me feel important and valuable. After just a few months of talking with her I began to feel alive again. The sad and scared me had drifted away. She thought me ways to deal with the anxiety and showed me the light out of the darkness I had been in for years. She genuinely cares about me and is the best person in my life.

Anne has been a true blessing in my life. She is one of the few people with whom I feel completely understood and who is truly invested in helping me. I'm so grateful for the progress we've made this far and hope to continue working with Anne into the future.

She is very sensitive to my needs and concerns. She is also very supportive and understanding. She always gives me the time I need to process my thoughts and I never feel judged in any way. I feel it is easy to open up to her.

Anne is very attentive, warm and engaging. I feel like she listens to me and brings up points that I may miss to think about more. It has been helpful already being able to talk with her.
