About me

Anne Redlich is an empathic and caring therapist with over 40 years of experience. She has a B.A. from the University of Michigan, and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Chicago. She also studied at the CG Jung Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute. She was given the Marjorie Kovler Center award for her work with survivors of political torture. Anne began her career working with children. She was the Assistant Director of the Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School at the University of Chicago. a residential treatment facility for emotionally disturbed children and adolescents. After five years at the school, she moved into private practice, focusing on psychotherapy with adolescents and adults. Anne specializes in working with patients suffering from a wide spectrum of symptoms, including anxiety and depressive disorders. “Listening is the most important aspect of my practice,” she says. “I try to bring as much empathy as possible to my patients’ experiences and feelings.” Her goal is to help her patients resolve their symptoms and get to the root of their problems, ,so that they can live their best, and healthiest lives.
