I am Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado with 8 years of professional work experience. I hold a Master of Counseling in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Colorado.
I have experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, depression, suicidality, cultural issues, substance abuse, and other challenges.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have within you the capacity to overcome the difficulties that face you. My approach to therapy is filled with curiosity, empathy, directness, and compassion. The key to success in therapy, I believe, is the relationship we build. I am person-centered and lean towards behavioral treatment modalities but also incorporate other approaches.
I am a firm believer that therapy can make a difference in people's lives. I bring that belief into session as well as open-mindedness, acceptance, and compassion. When you leave your first session with me, I hope that you will have found a safe place where you will be able to talk about what you struggle with, knowing that there is a way forward through this process. I am here to support & empower you in your journey.
