I am a therapist with an employment history in the active-duty military, corrections, and public health. I provided values focused, self-enriching, strength-based therapy to clients with relationship issues, parenting issues, trauma history, anxiety, and depression. In therapy, I will teach you about what is happening in your brain, develop skills to manage the mind you have, and techniques to stay on the course of healthy living. I use a model of therapy called acceptance and commitment therapy alongside principles of cognitive therapy, behavior focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. Through a collaborative process, we can explore and address the underlying causes of problematic behaviors, beliefs, and feelings, and together we can begin the process of healing.

Out of all of the counselors I’ve had, Annita has been the biggest blessing of a therapist there is. She could understand your mindset and give you lesson to help heal you as a person.
Annita is incredibly compassionate and understanding. She guides our sessions very effectively and definitely holds me accountable, ensuring that I am extending the same kindness to myself that I do to others. She is relatable but maintains professionalism. I am very grateful that I was matched with her.
I've only had two sessions with Annita, but I am so inspired by her practice. In the short time we've worked together, she's given me really thoughtful analogies to help me work with my emotions (I'm going through some big transitions right now), as well as homework to help me explore and reflect on my values, thought processes, and goals. If you are looking for a counselor to provide you with meaningful self-exploration tools and strategies, I highly recommend working with Annita - she is kind, direct and relatable, and holds you accountable.
Annita Coburn is a great therapist. She makes you think and helps you change negative behaviors and helps you to think positively, even when the situation is volatile. I’m grateful to be matched with this therapist.
Anita is exactly what I needed! She is well-versed in a wealth of techniques and strategies that have helped me understand anxiety and ADHD and make it easier to deal with! She listens and knows exactly how to help me direct my thoughts to function properly!
Annita is a very talented therapist - helping bring you to your own conclusions
Excellent. She’s absolutely amazing. She listens, she gives feedback and helps you understand exactly what she is saying. She also gives direction and options. 10 out of 10!
Love working with her. She reaches out even when you don’t reach out to check in on me. She has a way of not only listening but working through ideas to help you think what would work better and be better for your own self. I highly recommend her!
Annita is great and has really helped me during this time of change and beginning. I feel like I have learned tools that will make me emotionally successful going forward.
I am new to therapy and Annita has made me feel very comfortable speaking about my issues. She also has given me helpful tools to connect to my core values.
