Hello! My name is April Bailye and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Bradley University and went on to obtain my Master's Degree in Social Work Mental Health at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I am originally from Illinois, but have lived in Memphis, TN for the last ten years and just moved to the Atlanta area a couple months ago. I've been providing therapy to individuals and couples for over ten years. I got my start working with the severely mentally ill in hospitals, and have spent the last 8 years working in an outpatient setting. I specialize in treating people struggling with depression, anxiety, stress related to relationships and/or work, grief and loss, and trauma. I truly love to listen to peoples' stories and to help them get to a better place, whatever that may mean for them. Although I want what is best for my clients, it is also important that they feel comfortable in treatment. This means therapy/counseling sessions will move at your pace, and you will pick the goals you want to work on. I believe it's also important to be flexible, as no two people are the same. Therefore, I have multiple interventions and therapeutic frameworks that I use (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Theory, REBT, etc). As we get to know each other, we will figure out what interventions work best for you, specifically. There is nothing we can't talk about and nothing I can't help you with! So, let's get started!

- Relationship issues
- Family conflicts

April is amazing and compassionate and encouraging. I was only able to have about 7 or 8 sessions with her but even in that short time she helped me immensely and gave me tools to help me move forward with my my issues. I cant say enough about her professional yet friendly demeanor that really made me feel comfortable understood.
April is fantastic!
I am extremely happy with my counselor. She helps guide me to help myself and become independent and to self manage my anxieties.
April Bailey is great! I’m so glad I joined this service!
I went through maybe 10 different counselors before getting matched with April. I've been doing traditional face to face therapy for years and had difficulty replacing my last therapist after insurance and job schedule changes, but I'm really glad I stuck it out with BetterHelp until I found April. I'll send her an essay and she responds thoroughly instead of just asking a question or two about one specific point - she makes me feel heard, understood, cared for, and empathetically helps guide me towards healthier thoughts or greater insight. She responds in a very timely manner as well.
As a picky and experienced therapy goer - I highly recommend April!
April is wonderful! I have been in therapy for many years and she stands out among my therapists. I always feel heard and she responds to my needs with great ideas, advice and in a timely manner. I highly recommend her and BetterHelp to many of my friends and colleagues who may benefit from this service.
She’s amazing :)
