April Casuse, LMFT
About me
Hello and welcome to the introduction of myself. My name is April Casuse, I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in New Mexico. I have been working in the counseling field for 14 years. I have found one of my passions is to work with "helpers" and assisting them on identifying compassion fatigue and ways to work through it. I also have experience working with families, high-risk behaviors in adolescents, couples, and marriage counseling. I work from a systematic perspective. I believe for one person to grow in a healthier way that person will have to have a strong support system and be willing to be part of the change as a system. Although, most people that come to me for counseling are not aware of how crucial their support systems are and what support they need from them, I am here to assist on creating that connection with my clients. I think it is crucial the relationship between a person and/or family and their counselor is built on trust, rapport, honesty, and nonjudgmental conversations. Please reach out to me if you feel we might be a good fit.
