Hello! My name is Araceli and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I am also a National Certified Counselor. Professional growth is very important, therefore, I am currently working on becoming a fully Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have about 4 years of counseling experience working with individuals who have experience trauma/abuse, immigration issues, anger, grief/loss, adjustment, self-esteem and identifying appropriate coping mechanisms.
I enjoy helping others find the best version of themselves. I am very passionate about my work and helping those who may be experiencing a difficult period in their lives. Empathy and validating the concerns of my clients is very important, I never minimize their experiences. This is a non-judgmental environment. My counseling approach depends on the needs of my clients, we will work together to find the best approach to accomplish the desired goal.
