About me

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination.
The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change."-Carl Rogers

Acceptance is tricky, complicated, and something that most humans struggle to achieve. I think all of us can relate to struggling to understand parts of ourselves or why patterns continue to repeat in our lives. Using a Client-centered approach, and acceptance as the goal, together we can actively look at the truth of life and move gently towards what needs to shift. With compassion and empathy, my goal is to hold space for that journey through the therapeutic relationship. It is my honor to be part of the "learning and changing" required to live life fully expressed and be in the direction of a good life. None of this is easy, but it is worth it and having someone bear witness can be the driving force for transformation.

With over ten years in the field, and four years as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist after graduating from the Wright Institute, I have worked with various populations, demographics, and life concerns. It takes courage to reach out and ask for help, and I am thrilled to learn more and find out if the therapeutic space I offer would be helpful to you.
