Arthur Howard, LPC
About me
Experienced, licensed therapist with over 10+ years’ experience working with individuals, couples and families. My goal is to help clients gain a greater sense of inner peace through the achievement of personal goals and developing harmony, oneness, and satisfaction in their lives. This is accomplished by helping clients understand their inner selves and then stimulating change at the core of their being.
Besides my experience with the treatment of couples and adults who are experiencing anxiety or depression, I also possess over 20+ years’ experience working with adolescents in an educational setting struggling with social-emotional and/or behavioral challenges. Modes of treatment include: Cognitive Behavioral, Interpersonal and Family Systems Therapy.
I counsel under the belief of three important principles: (1) that everyone has the ability to change; (2) while we cannot change what happened in the past, we can change how those past events affect us in the present; and (3) we are always in charge of our emotions, regardless of the surrounding circumstances.
