Ashlee Calandros , LPC
About me
Hi there! My name is Ashlee and I have worked in the mental health field since 2009 and have worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2015. I believe that above all, the therapist/client relationship is paramount. I strive to build a strong rapport with my clients and work to ensure they feel comfortable as therapy can (sometimes) cause some anxiety all on its own. My goal is to make therapy fun for everyone while also working on whatever issues and problems you bring to the table. I employ a lot of humor in my sessions and enjoy hearing the stories and experiences of my clients. I have a great deal of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with varying mental health issues. Some of these issues include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, interpersonal conflict, trauma/abuse, self-esteem, motivation, confidence, and much more! I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy even if nothing is “wrong.” Sometimes we just need a listening ear from a neutral person from and I look forward to being that person for you. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and promote a safe space for individuals of all backgrounds to express themselves freely. I look forward to working with you!
