Therapy with Ashley
It takes a lot of courage to be on this page considering therapy. Life can be stressful, and I’m
sorry if you are currently struggling. If you’re here you may be having difficulties within your
relationship(s), wanting assistance further exploring your identity, or wanting to learn some
coping skills for dealing with your current circumstances.
Everyone’s situation is unique, however, common difficulties include:
Managing depressive or anxiety-based symptoms
Learning to love yourself despite identifying with a stigmatized community
Having interpersonal/ relationship issues
Our work together will comprise of:
Learning skills for creating and maintaining healthy thought patterns
Improving our capacity to listen and reflect as a means for strengthening relationships
Identifying your personal strengths and skill sets in order to affirm who you are and
empower you to live your best life
I practice from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy framework. I am excited to begin this journey
with you and anticipate that our time together will promote a deeper understanding and
appreciation for the self, the ability to foster and maintain healthy relationships and equip you
with the coping skills necessary to manage the ups and downs that are inevitable in life.
