About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. I have my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. I received my Bachelor's in Social from from Northeastern State University. When it comes to providing therapy, I like take a holistic approach to therapy by really looking at all areas of wellness in one's life and how we can work together to make improvements across the board. I develop strong relationships with my clients to identify the person's strengths and use those to overcome challenges, develop more positive coping skills, and live a healthier, happier life.

I tend to utilize basic Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques, which focus on challenging negative thinking and changing your mindset. I am also a big proponent of Positive Psychology and using mindfulness techniques. I like to have fun by incorporating a variety of activities into therapy.

I am easy-going and truly enjoy helping others. I'm from Oklahoma and enjoy reading sci-fi/fantasy. I also play roller derby on a local league in town. So, if you're looking for a therapist who is relatable, a tad quirky, but likes to keep things real, then I'm your gal.

Ashleigh is easy to talk to. She gives helpful advice and asks questions that allow for more introspection. She also provides tools that allow for mindset change and enable you to change unhealthy or negative thought processes. This has been my first experience with a counselor and it has been helpful all around.
