About Me
"Courage doesn't happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life." - Shannon Adler.
As a mental health therapist I believe that all individuals strive for success, connection, feelings of acceptance, significance, and respect. However, negative life experiences influence what we do and how we feel in the present moment resulting in feelings of inferiority and inadequacy.
My role as your therapist is to assist in the exploration of your personal story and help uncover sources of distress while helping you develop tools necessary to create a sense of self-worth, confidence, empowerment, and healing.
I have over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field in various capacities working extensively with adults. My areas of expertise include depression, adjustment issues, adult children of dysfunctional families, anxiety, family of origin issues, military, substance use, trauma, and first responders and their families.

Ashley really helped put a bit of order in my thoughts, she’s helping me work on my anxiety and she’s been really supportive. I never feel judged and feel like I can really open up with her.
Ashley is great!
Ashley is one of the best counselors I've worked with (and I've had four, not including her) so far. She compassionately listens and offers a lot of good advice and options. It feels like I'm the one who sets the path for my therapy and she'll be there every step of the way to offer a helpful, supportive hand, as needed. Thank you so much, Ashley!
I'm so lucky to have found Ashley. She gets were I'm coming from and can offer me the tools I need to help adjust my thought patterns so I can continue to heal myself and live my best life. I really value her insight and perspective on what is sometimes for me a difficult mental health journey. Thank you Ashley!
