About Me
Hi! I'm Ashley and I've been a social worker for nearly 10 years. I've worked primarily in the field of community mental health, helping adults and families cope with whatever challenges life has thrown at them. After completing my masters in social work at New York University in 2011, I worked for a large community center on New York's picturesque Upper West Side. Life then brought me to the San Francisco Bay Area where I had the chance to work in both an outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting.
My work and life experiences have made me especially interested in the intersection between mental and physical health. I have extensive experience working with individuals coping with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, adjusting to major life changes such as a new medical diagnosis or growing family as well as bereavement and loss. I take a holistic approach to well being, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT), motivational interviewing, breathing exercises and more. I value a collaborative approach and want to work with you to find the support and change you seek.
I'm currently licensed in both New York and California and am able to accept patients residing in either state.

Great Counselor. Professional and considerate
I've had a few therapists at this point and Ashley is by far the most professional and well trained. Shes really good at getting to the source and made some connections I never would've seen on my own. Ashley is patient and a great listener and is great at identifying the real problems. High recommend!
Ashley has been super great so far! I look forward to more counseling sessions with her!
