About Me

Welcome, and thank you for your time in learning more about me! My name is Ayesha and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I have over 13 years experience working in the mental health field. I have worked with children, families, couples, and individuals struggling with various issues related but not limited to stress, divorce, addiction, depression, female infertility, anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, and infidelity among others. I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based, and Person-Centered Therapy and Family Systems Therapy framework.

I believe that we are essentially equipped with insight on who we are and passion to learn more about ourselves in order for use to lead healthy lives. But sometimes the picture is unclear or hidden under other things in our lives. In order to unveil and begin the journey of leading healthier lives, it is important for me to create a space that is open-minded, non-judgmental and a unconditional positive experience when someone shares their personal story or experiences with me. Our relationship with our self and others has worth and is useful to explore in counseling.

You are welcome to message me anytime through Better Help. The frequency with which you can have access to a counselor to work through day to day emotions and problem solving is extremely beneficial for most and a nice change from traditional outpatient counseling. I usually check messages twice each day, seven days per week. I offer messaging, live chat and phone sessions with limited availability in the evenings and weekends. Please note that what you see in my calendar may not reflect my only availability so you always want to check that out with me through messaging first.

Hands down amazing therapist/counselor! For reference: PTSD/Abuse, Anxiety/Panic, Depression/Crisis, Parenting/Marriage, and goal setting and behavioral modifications! She has been helping me through all that and then some, I’m 31, female, a mother of a 20 month old, nursing , and a stay at home mother/housewife, and half way through with my bachelors degree. I think if you struggle with any of the above you should definitely seek help and I highly recommend Ayesha Crawford!

Ayesha is so amazing! She's direct with me and is a huge advocate of meeting people where they are. Also, she helps to create a plan for your mental health together, without forcing her own ideas onto you. I'm really happy to be working with her!

I believe Ayesha's most valuable trait, at least in my situation, is her insight into the relationship issues I was having and her insight into my former partner's emotional issues.
