Hello and welcome, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Utah. I received a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Utah in 2005. I am also a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and have been working with children, adolescents, adults, and families for over 9 years. I have had a great deal of experience working with families and helping with parenting issues. I also have experience working with trauma, attachment, ADHD, oppositional defiant behaviors, self esteem, anxiety, depression, and adjustments.
My approach to counseling and therapy is warm, person centered, and strengths based. I believe the quality of our relationships impacts all other parts of our lives. I believe humans have the ability to heal and change within themselves. I like to help a person identify and use their strengths and inner resources and use them to improve their relationships and overall functioning in life.
I know it can be scary to ask for help and to take the first step on your path to healing and growth. I can be there to support and empower you on your journey.
