Basharat Khan, LMFT
About me
My name is Basharat Khan and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I have 4 years of experience in the field of mental health and currently operate as a clinical therapist at a dual diagnosis substance use treatment center in Orange County, CA. I primarily work with individuals 18+ who are struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, career issues, motivation, and consistency in their lives.
My goal is to provide my client(s) a safe space and environment to openly share and process their thoughts, feelings, and emotions without the fear of judgment. Taking a leap of faith and seeking therapy is a big step, therefore, I desire to assist such individuals in identifying and developing the goals that will aid them in producing the healthy and fulfilling life they desire in a comfortable zone.
I completed my master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University. I also have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from University of California, Irvine. My professional experience is built on exploring the needs of individuals and accompanying them on the journey to self-actualization.
If you find yourself seeking direction in life, happiness, or even the innate desire to process underlying emotions that prevent you from the growth you desire, I encourage you to reach out and empower yourself to a better life!
