My name is Dr. Becky Eades, but most of my clients call me Becky. I have an M.A. in Community Counseling and a PhD in Counseling Psychology. I am a licensed psychologist and a passionate change-agent for 16 years. I help you achieve your goals by meeting you where you are when you start with me. I listen carefully to your concerns, your fears, your hopes, and your goals. I provide the amount of structure that you ask for and need. I give encouragement and support in a sacred therapeutic space that is healing in a way that words cannot describe but really works!
I provide research-based tools that help you get where you need to go in a way that supports your growth and healing. I help you understand and normalize the change process, which helps to demystify therapy for you. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy techniques to help you challenge your inner negative thinking and change it to more productive thinking. I embrace Positive Psychology tools to help you know your inner strengths and to help you develop them more fully in your life. I use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to help you release negative thoughts and pain and replace them with peaceful thoughts and emotions. As a Yoga and meditation teacher, I teach easy-to-do techniques to help you balance your nervous system and quiet your mind (Don’t worry, these techniques are so simple you could do many of them at a red light). These tools become yours once you learn them, so that you can add them to your “tool chest.” You are then empowered with ways to feel better, strengthen yourself and build resilience in your life.
I believe in empowerment for you. I am here to listen with deep caring and to support you on your journey. I believe that we all have incredible strength and wonderful abilities of which we sometimes need to be reminded. Our depression, our anxiety, our traumas, and our wounds need to be healed so that we can get back to who we really are underneath. I am here to help you do exactly that, one step at a time. You can do this! I would be honored to go on this journey with you.

Excellent counseling experience!
Dr. Eades has been a wonderful help to me on my journey to a healthier life! She’s amazing at what she does, and her extensive knowledge of psychology and what makes us human is vital in her great care!
I find that after speaking with Dr. Eades I am completely reassured that she will assist me in every way that she can. She is a complete professional, yet balances her expertise with knowledge and compassion. I needed a therapist like Dr. Eades to validate my feelings and be able to pinpoint certain avenues of therapy to help me function through the day. Dr. Eades scope of therapy and experience seems to be wide ranging and she truly cares about her patients. In short the ability to know I can reach out to her and e-mail my thoughts and feelings, and know she will get back to me in invaluable, I feel she is totally dedicated to her patients.
Dr. Eades is extremely professional. She allows me to expand my personal understanding and explore my strengths and weaknesses in a constructive way. I developed a rapport with her easily. In one session, I felt relieved and was excited to continue working with her.
I feel confident that as I work closely with her, that I will (with no doubt) improve my health and wellbeing.
I appreciate her candid, yet supportive feedback. She has provided tools to use in between sessions and feel that she is someone who will help me toward my goals.
