To my prospective clients...
I look forward to working with you and it is my personal mission as a counselor to see to it that you are much better when we finish your therapy with me than when I first met you and listened to you. It is my belief that we all have the capacity to feel better when we feel supported, listened to, have our pain and grief validated, develop insights and self-awareness about our situation and learn coping skills and mechanisms so we can do the process of healing. If you have depression, stress and anxiety, are grieving the loss of a loved one, break-up, and divorce or loss of ability, capacity or coping with feelings of failure, there is hope that you will somehow heal from all these. If you suffer from lack of self-esteem, motivation, confidence, self-control, or belief in your own abilities, know that you can be better at this. Not doing anything to get help for yourself can affect not only your mental and emotional well-being but also your physical well-being. You do not have to suffer by yourself -- seek out someone who can help you find your way to feel better. If you worry about your feeling safe and trusting someone you do not know, seeing a therapist like myself is a good first step as we are here not to judge but to help. Everything we talk about is confidential. You owe it to yourself to take care of yourself and it is my desire to support you in this process. We will start where you are, and work on the issues that matter most to you.

Bet is a wonderful therapist, really one of a kind. She is extremely gentle and understanding, gives actionable advice, and treats the whole person, not just the symptoms. I feel safe with her as my therapist, and know that because she listens so well, and asks the right questions, she will guide me to solving my issues once and for all.
