Beth Herman

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). My Master's Degree is in Clinical Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University. I hold additional credentials as Distance Credentialled Counselor (DCC) and in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

My approach is "client-centered" believing that everyone seeks to fulfill their potential and live the best possible life. I am engaged and interactive with an easy-going and down to earth style. I help my clients gain insight and understanding into their current situation and help them to tap into their own internal resources. I believe it is important to recognize that in order to heal we must consider all aspects of an individual, mind, body, and spirit.

You will feel safe working with me and secure knowing that you are not alone on your journey.

She demonstrates respect and compassion, she is supportive, offers direction. She challenges my perspective by providing an alternate point of view.

Beth and I are in the early stages of working through my situation, but I am already feeling very comfortable with her and confident in her ability to help me. She very much "gets" what I am going through and has had a lot of genuinely helpful and relevant advice for me. I look forward to continuing our work together.
