Hi. My name is Beth and I have been a social worker for 20 years, primarily I have worked as a therapist. I have worked with persons who are dealing with life problems whether basic or complex. I am believer in the person. Help me help you to help yourself. Some times we can get so caught up in life that we forget we've got the strengths we do to pull ourselves out of bad situations--until someone comes along and reminds us, the answer was there all along.
My focus is you. I want to go where you want to take me, I am a client centered therapist who utilizes motivational interviewing and solution focused techniques. The most important part of therapy is the rapport between myself and you, having that connection is the key to success.
I have worked with persons with and without diagnosable mental health difficulties including substance abuse and trauma. I believe in mindfulness based techniques, i am a strong supporter of journaling--though realize and respect that it isn't for everyone. I believe we all have the power to heal ourselves, it is just that sometimes we need some help, and there's nothing wrong with that. To come to a place like this and ask for help is a huge step, how brave you are.

Beth is responsive, and kind. I love that she is human and doesn’t stand in judgement at all, it’s truly like talking to a friend who happens to be a therapist! I recommend Beth whole heartedly if you want a therapist who makes you feel comfortable, I’ve told her things I would not have told a more uptight or judgy therapist. She’s amazing and has helped me so much!

Beth has been a delight to work with. Our sessions feel like comfortable conversations that I walk away from with a little extra insight into my life. We tend to laugh a lot in our sessions as well, which has been great at relieving the anxiety I was feeling and helped to make the goals I'd set feel a bit more attainable.

She is very supportive and sees what I need to do. She has adopted my way of doing it. Be it because it's the right way or because it's the right way for me. She gives me Carte Blanche and I really like that. I am very sure she would steer me in a more conducive path if she felt is was needed. I do not doubt her expertise. I do not doubt my heart. It's telling me where to go. But with her the reassurance is there so I can move forward. She is badass

Beth is fantastic. I started with her upon my primary relationship breakup/heartbreak. Each session has helped. She demonstrates an open mind and keen skill at meeting me where I am. She listens then reflects back to me what she heard in a manner that helps in my despair and confusion, and come to solutions/tactics for coping, healing, growing.
