About me

Hello! My name is Beth Maino and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I attended James Madison University earning a Bachelors in Social Work and I graduated with a Masters in Social Work from West Virginia University. I have worked for over twenty years with clients seeking counseling in private practice, hospital, and educational settings. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, anger, and ADHD.

My treatment approach is rather laid back but is set on the foundation of having a therapeutic relationship. I use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I work with each client individually to focus treatment on what works best for them.

It is so courageous of you to take the first step in seeking assistance with making changes in your life. I applaud your effort and want you to know that you are not alone
We all deserve a safe place to be heard, understood and supported. I look forward to working with you.

I really enjoy meetings with Beth she is kind, understanding and intelligent. She goes at your desired pace and ultimately wants you to grow. She will offer tools even when you are on your meeting but throughout the week. I love that I have a very active therapist

Beth is so caring and truly has a calming presence. Even when I’m rambling and probably not making any sense, she somehow makes sense of it and makes me feel like i can conquer difficult emotions and challenges that I’m going through. She actively offers solutions to things causing me stress and checks in on me if she hasn’t heard from me in a few days. I feel so refreshed after every session with Beth and am very grateful for her.
