About me

Hi, my name is Betty De Los Santos Coleman and I am a licensed social worker in the state of New York. I have 28 years of professional experience.

I have a down to earth, person-centered and multicultural approach to working with clients. My style is warm, supportive, and I "keep it real". I take working with people very seriously; it is an honor when someone is willing to share themselves with me; their vulnerabilities and victories. I personally learn so much from helping others, it is actually therapeutic for me as well as for you.

I look forward to sharing space with you and being vulnerably and amazingly human together.

Just living is not enough... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower. ~Hans Christian Andersen

Betty was an absolute joy to speak to. She is diplomatic, caring, funny and very sharp. From my time with her, I’ve taken away so many skills that I hope to practice daily to continue my journey toward healing. I look forward to starting therapy again as she’s made my first experience so wonderful. Thank you, Betty!
