Beverly Swann

(LMFT, MA, PhD)

About Me

Hi, my name is Beverly Swann (LMFT, MA, PhD), and I will be honored to assist you on your path to moving forward and finding joy, success, life satisfaction, and contentment. My whole-person approach to change and growth is founded in a masters degree in Somatic (body-oriented) Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and a doctoral degree in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University.

As a therapist, I see my role as a facilitator and guide. I provide a safe environment for exploration, discovery, and resolution while incorporating awareness, creativity, spirituality, discipline, humor, and resilience.

Although my clients start at many levels of healing and growth, I specialize in the following areas:
• Getting past speedbumps and roadblocks in life (getting unstuck)
• Managing anxiety and developing new perspectives
• Life after mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI) or post-concussion syndrome
• Managing the effects of post-Lyme disease syndrome

My whole-person approach includes both evidence-based and cutting-edge approaches which assist people to:
• Develop strategies for making real change
• Overcome fear of change or lack of confidence
• Recover from physical and psychological trauma
• Rebuild their lives after traumatic disruption
• Achieve goals they didn’t think were possible
• Overcome limitations or learn to negotiate them effectively

I look forward to getting to know more about you and to working with you as you step into your best self!
