Blaire Franklin, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey, and I received a Master of Education (Ed. M) in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College Columbia University in New York City.
My experience in the mental health field is diversified, as I have provided supportive case management services to individuals and families within the community, worked in community-based mental health clinics, outpatient partial hospitalization program (PHP) settings, providing counseling and facilitating groups, and in private practice.
I partner with individuals and have professional work experience helping clients who grapple with stress and anxiety, depression, grief & loss, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, life-transitions, career difficulties, relationships and physical sickness. Together we work to achieve your goals, which often times can be gaining insight and understanding about the presenting issue and how it affects your interactions with the world, building healthy coping skills for managing a condition or problem and/or finding strength and courage to make necessary changes to live a more fulfilling or purpose-filled life.
I am a compassionate, empowering and inspirational therapist who truly listens to my clients. I utilize a Person-Centered and eclectic (though mostly Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy-oriented) approach in the counseling setting. I truly believe every client has the ability to change and reach his or her potential, and it is a privilege to accompany you along the journey to attaining your goals and becoming your best self.
