I specialize in anger management, addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse and stress issues with individuals, families and couples. I provide my clients with effective tools and techniques to help them with their problems utilizing Cognitive-behavioral therapy and Dialectical behavioral therapy, for starters. I am also trained in an excellent and effective trauma therapy called Traumatic Incident Reduction therapy. I also provide a comprehensive assessment for clients to help them address all possible issues for their optimal mental and emotional health. My approach with clients is a kind, supportive and empathetic style. I focus on your needs and goals and how I can best help you with your problems and issues. I assign homework and believe that positive change happens not only in therapy but what we do outside of therapy. I have over fifteen years experience in working with clients in the medical field and in my own private practice. I look forward to working with you!

Wasn’t sure what to expect because this is actually my first time in therapy but it turned out to be great. Even if I am upset about something I think is stupid, and to anyone might seem stupid, Blake still validates my feelings and tries to help me deal with them. He has helped me fix a relationship(friendship) that was initially pretty sour. He is punctual and inquisitive and genuinely cares - I am not just another patient to him, I am a person that deserves to be heard and talked with.
