Dr. Bobby Winkler

About Me

I am a licensed professional substance abuse/mental health counselor an psychologist. I am licensed in Georgia with over 30 years of experience working as a psycho-counselor and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, substance disorders, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm, interactive and non-judgemental. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

What a lovely, intelligent, Godly man. My situation was/is unique and Dr. Winkler was able to easily adapt.

Dr. Winkler's approach has completely taken someone very therapy-averse, and changed his point of view 180 degrees. His kind, patient, optimistic approach has assisted me in making major improvements in my life and recovery within a very short amount of time. I highly recommend anyone seeking guidance out of substance abuse and trauma to seek Dr. Winkler out as soon as possible.
