About me

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me. I am a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Ohio. I have over 10 years experience working with adolescents and adults. Much of my experience is in working with college-aged individuals. I have particular experience in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment concerns, and relational difficulties.

My approach to therapy strongly values the therapeutic relationship. It is important for you to feel comfortable with your therapist. Lasting change is built on authentic exploration, which requires a high degree of trust. I use several different approaches to therapy depending on your needs, but much of my way of working is grounded in developing insight and awareness in order to support your empowerment and personal freedom.

I look forward to working with you!

Dr. Meyers is a great listener! He really helped me identify the root cause of my communication struggles, and was able to help me clarify what it was that I felt. He is great at validating feelings, and gave me awesome reminders about how my feelings and needs are just as important as others'. In addition, his calming presence and flexibility in schedules made for a great counseling experience!

Dr. Meyers is the first male therapist I've had and I honestly can say he makes me feel so comfortable speaking about things I don't typically want too.

Dr. Meyers has been such an amazing help to me. I just signed up this year, and it’s been full of unimaginable events that he has really helped me break down and helped me get through. He consistently gives me techniques on how to handle my anxiety and my panic attacks, and he’s played a big part in the reduction of them too!

Dr. Meyers is very kind and responsive, and listens very well. He asks good, specific questions which invites me to think about things in different ways. I appreciate his help in learning to better communicate with people about my feelings and needs.
