About me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California, and I have worked as a therapist with a variety of individuals with differing issues, cultural influences, and orientations, for the past 10 years, including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, relationship and parenting issues, substance abuse, teenagers with life changing choices and issues, and men and women with a history of incarceration. Also, I have a strong connection and work with the LGBTQ community.

My counseling style is non-judgmental, relaxed and honest. I believe in treating and building a rapport with my clients with respect, compassion, and empathy. I understand each client presents with specific goals and expectations, and for which I am aware that progress toward change may take time, but it is something we all strive for. My approach combines client-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution focused, as well as psychodynamically to understand one's background and underlying issues. I will tailor our dialog and your treatment plan, as well as, it being essential for me to use our time together to meet your specific needs.

I know that reaching out for support might be challenging, but taking this initiative is a big step in the right direction. When you are ready to talk, I am here to help you reach your personal and professional goals.

I look forward to speaking with you soon!
